Who could forget the kids and students during this time? At Journey, it has always been about helping them follow Jesus in age-appropriate environments. It shouldn’t be any different in the virtual world. Each week we will have a special environment just for kids and students.
Serving Opportunities
Just because we aren’t gathering as the church on the weekend, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be the church in our community. We partner with several organizations that are doing an amazing job at meeting the needs of those that are feeling the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Our Missional Communities meet all over the city and since our local and national officials have discouraged any gatherings of more than 10 in size, we are canceling all of our Missional Communities. Instead, we are moving these environments to an online experience. If you are currently in an MC, you no doubt have already been contacted by your MC Leader. If you aren’t currently in an MC, now is the perfect time to explore the virtual world of MCs.
